Local artisans sell unique and fabulous treasures along the Avon River and Veterans Drive from 12 noon until 6pm

Edible Embers Non-Profit BBQ

Local non-profits grilling local food 12 noon until 6pm. The air will be heavy with the aromas of:

  1. The Actors Guild servin' up tasty de Martines heritage pork ribs with homemade BBQ sauce; grilled Neubrand Country Farm's vegetable skewers with halloumi cheese, Tea Leaves Iced Tea & Balzac's Iced Coffee & Latte
  2. Community Living Stratford & Area (CLSA) preparing Midema’s Meat Market home made beef burgers supplied by local farmer Martin Kirwin and topped with Neubrand Country Farm's onion, Distinctly Tea Home-made Iced Tea
  3. Perth County OSPCA grillin' Fosterdale Farms sweet corn smothered in local whey butter
  4. Stratford Minor Sports Council makin' The Butcher and The Baker's BBQ Beef on a Bun, Harmony Organics Chocolate and White milk
  5. CMHA Huron-Perth grillin' locally made Buddha hot dogs served with Neubrand Country Farm's fresh veggies and County Food Co. dip, Gay Lea White and Chocolate milk
  6. Slow Food Perth County servin' Perth Pork Products' Pulled Pork Sandwiches with Neubrand's Caramelized Onions & Vernon Farms' Apples & Local Ontario Juices - Wellesley Iced Apple Cider and Niagara Juice Company's Gesundheit Grape Juice

Local restaurants have created unique and delicious condiments to compliment your grilled fare.

Outdoor Music Concerts

A diverse range of local bands and musical artists take to the stage from 12 noon until 6pm.

York Street Carnivale

Join the “Carnivale” as York Street merchants set up shop en plein air in a festive atmosphere that features a sidewalk sale, cafés, music & buskers from 12 noon until 6pm.

Monforte Kids’ Tent

Monforte Dairy is delighted to sponsor the Kids’ Tent at Savour Stratford Perth County Culinary Festival! Among the many activities for our youngest foodies are cooking demonstrations with authors Mark Morton and Andrew Coppolino and chefs Denis Cotter, Sirka Sie and Wendy Farkas; food-related literacy fun with the Stratford Public Library; and a play area for the wee ones brought to you by the Early Years Centre. All-day activities include face painting, and plenty of crafts to keep the kids busy! See schedule below for specific times of events happening in the Kids’ Tent throughout the day.

Stratford Chefs School Learning Centre

Chefs & Authors offer demos about some of our favourite food (and some a bit lesser known) from 12 noon until 6pm. Limited capacity. Some events are ticketed or require pre-registration. Bradshaws Silent Auction

Bradshaws, along with a select group of their top suppliers, are offering a variety of fantastic kitchen items available in a silent auction format from 12 until 6 pm. This is a great opportunity to bid on some of the incredible products available at Bradshaws Kitchen Detail with all proceeds donated to support future Savour Stratford events. Ontario Wine & Craft Beer Pavilion

Listen to the main stage, lounge in the Pavilion featuring VQA wine from Chateau des Charmes and craft beer from the Stratford Brewing Company and Creemore Springs Brewery. Open 12 pm - 6 pm. Age of Majority Required.

Sip, Sample and Savour quintessential Perth County food products prepared by some of the industry’s finest chefs and served with Ontario wines and craft beers. 30 “culinary duos” offer up delicious, de-local, de-waste-free samples in an casually elegant and intimate setting - until 4 pm. $63 Click here for a list of participants.

Live musical entertainment:
Mike McConville & Drew Burrell: A duo featuring Stratford’s premier luthier and guitar teacher, along with Stratford’s foremost Flamenco Inspired guitarist performing hit latin instrumentals with some originals.

Jackie Robitaille: Best categorized as folk-soul-ethereal combining soul, classical piano, folk, opera and jazz, an emotion-stirred presentation that embodies a world music flair.

Luckless

Slow Food Taste Workshop

Kids learn how to slow down and really taste their food. They may discover some new favourites as they open their minds to the distinctive flavours of Perth County with the Screaming Avocado Café!
